Zé Pedro Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 16 minutes Monumento Sports's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucca Gol's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Davi Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the game, Willy Stieler was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monumento Sports the free kick. Willy Stieler kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Lucca Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucca Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chaman Do Bonde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Zé Pedro Coelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Germany's Willy Stieler managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luiz Fabiano Pires in the 52 minute of the game. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucca Gol in the 54th minute of play. Lucca Gol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Lucca Gol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After 72 played minutes Monumento Sports got a freekick which was hit by Zé Pedro Coelho. After 74 minutes of play, Monumento Sports's Lucca Gol made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monumento Sports's Pedro Luís Zonta was substituted for Luiz Fabiano Pires. Monumento Sports's Henrique Magalhães was substituted for Lucca Gol. Monumento Sports's Sandrinho Ramalho was substituted for Dênis Fantini. In the 80th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willy Stieler to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Pedro Luís Zonta in the 85th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Germany's Willy Stieler. Frank Sachs in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Chaman Do Bonde, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 95 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. A collision led to Monumento Sports getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Zé Pedro Coelho hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Monumento Sports were the better team. Monumento Sports's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
