Hegedus Henrik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Chaman Do Bonde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucca Gol in the 4th minute of play. Balazs Lajos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chaman Do Bonde having to interfere. In the 13th minute, Antal Valentin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Ubaldo Matildo De Bethune De Looz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monumento Sports's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Takacs Tibor was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 38th minute, Monumento Sports's Lucca Gol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lucca Gol was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Chaman Do Bonde in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 76 minutes into the match, Major Barna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chaman Do Bonde.
