Nunez Gora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 7th minute of play. Germany's Albin Holweck got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Alberto Spinetta hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Albin Holweck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nunez Gora narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Cementerio Club getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Luis Alberto Spinetta hit a great ball. Albin Holweck struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Nunez Gora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Venancio Cesaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Gora having to interfere. Julio Turi got a throw-in 36 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Ciro Weather. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. When Germany's Frank Sachs in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cementerio Club's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 42nd minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Venancio Cesaro made a kick off. Gogo Ugutz lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Germany booed when Cementerio Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Ugutz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Nunez Gora in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Gora having to interfere. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nunez Gora read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Nunez Gora was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Frank Sachs showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-1 in the 66 minute of play. After 70 minutes Cementerio Club's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. Nunez Gora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Nunez Gora made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 75th minute. Germany's Frank Sachs managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Julio Turi in the 77 minute of the game. After having played for 78 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Julio Turi fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cementerio Club's protests and gave Julio Turi a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Cementerio Club got a freekick which was hit by Julio Turi. In the 82nd minute, Albin Holweck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Cementerio Club's Ciro Weather got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Gora having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cementerio Club's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nunez Gora came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 94 minutes into the game, Linus Schwerner threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cementerio Club's Luis Alberto Spinetta quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Nunez Gora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Germany had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
