Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zaccheo Andolina took the kick off in the first half of the match. Abelardo Janpier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porziano Marchitelli in the 7th minute of play. After 9 minutes Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Eliseo Cutri got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Abelardo Janpier quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Italy! In the 26thth minute of the game Todd Gronow who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Porziano Marchitelli struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Abelardo Janpier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. Italy's attentive Zena Busacca managed to snatch the ball when Martin Justin made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. Abelardo Janpier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 38th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Todd Gronow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th match minute, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ildefonso Foro to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Todd Gronow to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ildefonso Foro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Todd Gronow in the 55th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Napoleon Kolbert, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Ildefonso Foro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Flavio Vittori in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 60 minutes into the game, Inaki Mirabal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Italy the free kick. Inaki Mirabal hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Italy's Abelardo Janpier threw himself towards the right post 62 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sigfrido Auletta, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Italy booed when Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Justin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute, Martin Justin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Andreas Harlén was substituted for Zula Turek. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Hipolito Nafarroa was substituted for Napoleon Kolbert. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Melquiades Lastur was substituted for Fausto Agüero. A well-hit corner resulted in Siricio Liotta heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Zaccheo Andolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's Eliseo Cutri quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Martin Justin, made in the 89th minute of the game. In the 90th minute, Todd Gronow made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0.
