Roch Roman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Roch Roman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Galácticos del Pueblo's Roch Roman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 41st minute of play. Roch Roman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Roman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Lars Meesters ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roch Roman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Criston was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lars Meesters got free with Roch Roman in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 55 minutes into the match, Galácticos del Pueblo's goalkeeper Roch Roman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. In the 56th minute, Lars Meesters hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Varol Refiğ charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Varol Refiğ the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roch Roman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. 63 minutes into the match, Galácticos del Pueblo's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Roch Roman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Jorden De Cerpel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roch Roman made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. 83 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Mohamed Bale came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Jorden De Cerpel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galácticos del Pueblo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roch Roman quite easily take care of the ball. After 91 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Kees Mooiweer. Lars Meesters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Roch Roman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Merih Bengi in the 94th minute of play. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Merih Bengi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roch Roman having to interfere.
