When Mathias Ludvigsen fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denmark's protests and gave Mathias Ludvigsen a yellow card for diving instead. The audience was convinced that Sture Hellbom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Jesus in the 89th minute of play. Jonathan Orozco was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Lars Steen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lars Steen really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olav Graversen during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 97 minutes into the match, Gabriel Jesus notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew the final whistle, Billesholm could leave the field as winners, despite Denmark having more of the ball for most of the match.
