Marius Niculae could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. A sloppy throw-in by Faustino Almeida in the 5th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ACe Aimaro Juniors's Filip Scigan. In the 8th minute ACe Aimaro Juniors were awarded a corner. Jerzy Oliszewski went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Belo in the 9th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marius Niculae in the 10th minute. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute, Faustino Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Marius Niculae took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Wilson Amorim to make any attempt to save it. Caetano Moreira scored 2-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pinki Kush, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lech Czaplicki in the 30th minute of play. Pinki Kush showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, ACe Aimaro Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Pimentel came free, but Pinki Kush reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pinki Kush made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 39th minute of play. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lech Czaplicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, ACe Aimaro Juniors's goalkeeper Pinki Kush had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto.
