Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Linetty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 31 minutes had been played when some careless play by Huracán Varsovia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Linus Schwerner almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Huracán Varsovia's Bruno Hermes did a great save. Igor Iwanowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. He Di Quan struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huracán Varsovia. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Igor Iwanowski in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, He Di Quan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from He Di Quan, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Bondel in the 62nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Huracán Varsovia's goalkeeper Bruno Hermes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 98 minutes into the game, He Di Quan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Huracán Varsovia fully deserved thier win.
