The referee showed Emilio Etxatxu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Scofield's Ulises Blai got a free kick in the 11th minute. Scofield's Constantino Mel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 15th minute of play. With a little luck, Denmark's Keld Paulsen got control of the ball when Timoteo Rufo tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 34th minute of play forced Scofield's goalkeeper Constantino Mel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Scofield's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Constantino Mel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Steen during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
