Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 7 minutes into the game, Deportivo Empate's Ingmar Wiman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Auer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The Deportivo Empate fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Deportivo Empate's Ingmar Wiman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 13th minute, Nickolai Skivild made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Auer. Austria's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 18th minute, Ingmar Wiman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Auer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Nickolai Skivild received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Fabio Auer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabio Auer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nickolai Skivild in the 23rd minute of the match. Ingmar Wiman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Deportivo Empate booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonhard Maier didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Deportivo Empate fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Deportivo Empate's Ingmar Wiman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Austria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ingmar Wiman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. If Nickolai Skivild had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Austria players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo Empate were winning 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sandro Galishoff was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Austria's Fabio Schneider got a free kick in the 51st minute. 53 minutes into the match, Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingmar Wiman. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingmar Wiman got free with Fabio Auer in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
