Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonard Aanuţei in the 7th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Elenescu came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Leonard Aanuţei notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leonard Aanuţei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute of the game Lucian Dejeu made a throw-in which Leonard Aanuţei played forward. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Avram Elenescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Buzău's supporters rose to their feet, but Avram Elenescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adrian Dreifuss charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrian Dreifuss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. FC Buzău's Eugen Carabulea was substituted for Augustin Cernat. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Germany booed when FC Buzău was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucian Dejeu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 34 played minutes, Germany's Frank Sachs shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gheorghe Baldovin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Germany reached it. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Traian Balaban showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Avram Elenescu to make the kick off. A collision led to FC Buzău getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Lucian Dejeu hit a great ball. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Gheorghe Baldovin made a huge save. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Aanuţei in the 57th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Strugure came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 68 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Willy Stieler kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Strugure, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. FC Buzău's Gheorghe Baldovin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Buzău from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, FC Buzău's Lucian Dejeu got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 89th minute, Germany's Frank Sachs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Avram Elenescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that FC Buzău were the better team. FC Buzău's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
