Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jens Krammer took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Hens came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jens Krammer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 16 minutes, Robert Chapuis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the France and the FC Żywiec players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robert Chapuis kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, FC Żywiec's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but Steven Schuster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pascal Fabisch during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes FC Żywiec got a freekick which was hit by Pascal Fabisch. The audience was convinced that Frank Peletier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Steven Schuster was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Jens Krammer put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Maxime Durand. Jens Krammer kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot France's keeper Maxime Durand was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Hens, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Walter Schulze-Oben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes had been played when some careless play by France's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nico-Paul Kleinert was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Żywiec's players had a chance to rest. Frank Peletier struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Steven Schuster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Peletier made a kick off. In the 51st match minute, FC Żywiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Männel to maneuver through the defense. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Żywiec's goalkeeper Steven Schuster, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Schuster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute of the match David Barbier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Steven Schuster showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens Krammer in the 73rd minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remy Dupuy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute Jens Krammer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. France's Remy Dupuy managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pascal Fabisch in the 83 minute of the game. Walter Schulze-Oben's late challenge caught a France's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Walter Schulze-Oben helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th match minute, FC Żywiec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walter Schulze-Oben to maneuver through the defense. Frank Peletier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Steven Schuster having to make a save. 88 minutes into the match, FC Żywiec's goalkeeper Steven Schuster had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Peletier. After 89 played minutes FC Żywiec got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Männel. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jens Krammer's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. 96 minutes into the match, FC Żywiec's goalkeeper Steven Schuster had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camille Baume. FC Żywiec were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of France for a fine match.
