Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ke Xiang in the 24th minute of play. Ke Xiang received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnout Reekers came out and tried to block the shot, but Ke Xiang slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tao Cheng Zhi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. When El ultimo's Ke Xiang, in the 55th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for El ultimo. Tao Cheng Zhi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 62nd minute of the match. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 89th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tao Cheng Zhi could save by the left post. The El ultimo support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
