Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 4 minutes into the game, Felipe Mino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fodor Daniel. Felipe Mino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antal Valentin in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateo Medardo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mateo Medardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Takacs Tibor, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Suibhne Ghee sent off a good shot on target. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Medardo having to interfere. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateo Medardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balazs Lajos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mateo Medardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute Balazs Lajos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Medardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32ndth minute of the game Antal Valentin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tama's Mateo Medardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Medardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Major Barna's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mateo Medardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mateo Medardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Mino in the 53rd minute of play. Balazs Lajos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Victorino Mogel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mateo Medardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Tama's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tama's Mateo Medardo did a great save. Tama made a substitution. Simon Ferran replaced Suibhne Ghee. After 84 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Hegedus Henrik. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tama's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. Takacs Tibor was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience was convinced that Simon Ferran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Simon Ferran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
