Sture Hellbom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Khalid Kennedy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Marcus Grep hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Issac Dawson made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Orozco. Billesholm's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Billesholm's Jonathan Orozco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Cox in the 29th minute of play. England's Khalid Kennedy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save England from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute of the game Quinn Holmes made a throw-in which Caelan Hayes played forward. 42 minutes into the match, Billesholm's goal looked a bit too open when Kyle Cox came free, but Jonathan Orozco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Billesholm getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Johannes Söderqvist hit a great ball. Ernst Ahlbom hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sture Hellbom stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Sture Hellbom made a precise shot to the right of Khalid Kennedy. England's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Marcus Grep charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 62nd minute, Orvar Bergsten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sture Hellbom took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khalid Kennedy. Khalid Kennedy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 74 minutes into the match, Billesholm's goalkeeper Jonathan Orozco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Micah Macdonald. The supporters of England booed when Billesholm was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven Caspersson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Orozco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xavier Gallagher in the 80th minute. With an all-out effort, England's Jonathan Orozco threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kyle Cox, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 90th minute Gabriel Jesus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Janne Beckenbauer made a great header on Billesholm's corner, it was just that England's Khalid Kennedy managed to reach the ball for a save.
