The supporters of CSD Pte Derqui booed when Belgium was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Sander Dermaut managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belgium's supporters rose to their feet, but Sander Dermaut was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorio Sarracino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honorio Sarracino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edward Vanderstraeten went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Sander Dermaut's late challenge caught a CSD Pte Derqui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sander Dermaut helped the player get up and apologised. After 44 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Sander Dermaut.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Vanderstraeten to strike the kick off in the second half. Honorio Sarracino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Honorio Sarracino in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. CSD Pte Derqui's Honorio Sarracino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save CSD Pte Derqui from getting a goal against them. CSD Pte Derqui's Honorio Sarracino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 68th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yves Dervaux got free with Honorio Sarracino in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sander Dermaut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorio Sarracino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Angelo Demesio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CSD Pte Derqui fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Yves Dervaux struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Honorio Sarracino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgium. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
