In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 4 minutes into the match, FİLDİŞİ-IVORY-FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Necmettin Bozdoğan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Necmettin Bozdoğan came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Major Barna. But to his dismay, Major Barna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 14th minute of play forced FİLDİŞİ-IVORY-FC's goalkeeper Necmettin Bozdoğan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes, Antal Valentin made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FİLDİŞİ-IVORY-FC's Necmettin Bozdoğan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FİLDİŞİ-IVORY-FC made a substitution. Başaran Yenbu replaced Gürbüz Sefer. Fodor Daniel was a little too slow when Abdulvahit Tanır got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-2. The supporters of Hungary booed when FİLDİŞİ-IVORY-FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adnan Settar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When FİLDİŞİ-IVORY-FC's Altay Mengübay in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Altay Mengübay sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Altay Mengübay in the 77th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Altay Mengübay came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Takacs Tibor got free with Necmettin Bozdoğan in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 82 played minutes FİLDİŞİ-IVORY-FC got a freekick which was hit by Aykutalp Erincer. 84 minutes into the match, FİLDİŞİ-IVORY-FC's goalkeeper Necmettin Bozdoğan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Altay Mengübay put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Fodor Daniel. In the 89th minute, Major Barna made a precise shot to the right of Necmettin Bozdoğan. FİLDİŞİ-IVORY-FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Altay Mengübay, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
