Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Vern Wright kicked off to start the match. After 5 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Albin Holweck. After 7 minutes, Vern Wright made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The corner ended in Frank Sachs almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pueblo FC's Boyd Winkler did a great save. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Vern Wright tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 15th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Shelton Clifton fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pueblo FC's protests and gave Shelton Clifton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Pueblo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shelton Clifton to maneuver through the defense. Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boyd Winkler. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Pueblo FC's Gerry Franco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 2-0 after 21 minutes of play. Vern Wright recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vern Wright. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Vern Wright managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pueblo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vern Wright was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 34th minute, Vern Wright reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 3-0. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Vern Wright sent off a good shot on target. Pueblo FC's Gerry Franco got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 47 minutes, Vern Wright made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Albin Holweck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Frank Sachs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Boyd Winkler when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Shelton Clifton was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. In the 64th minute, Shelton Clifton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Albin Holweck hit a great ball. In the 70th minute Pueblo FC were awarded a corner. Jackson Valle went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Vern Wright almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. When Pueblo FC's Vern Wright in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Germany's goalie prevented a goal. 75 minutes into the game, Greg Shipley cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vern Wright in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Boyd Winkler made a huge save. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vern Wright, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 96 minutes, Vern Wright managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pueblo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vern Wright was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pueblo FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
