Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Venko Petrov started the match with the kick off. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dimitar Vetzov. Dimitar Vetzov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Bansko's Dimitar Vetzov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Bansko's Dimitar Vetzov. Dimitar Vetzov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Albert Momkov hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dimitar Vetzov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitar Vetzov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 24th minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Dimitar Vetzov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimitar Vetzov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After 34 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dimitar Vetzov was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute of the match, Venko Petrov got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arnout Reekers was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience was convinced that Gijsbert ter Kruimer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dimitar Vetzov was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Bansko's goalkeeper Dimitar Vetzov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute, Wim Wilmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dimitar Vetzov was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitar Vetzov having to interfere. Dimitar Vetzov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Dimitar Vetzov made a huge save. When Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Bansko's goalie prevented a goal. FC Bansko made a substitution. Kuncho Glavchev replaced Venko Petrov. FC Bansko made a substitution. Gencho Mangezov replaced Ivan Toromanov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Avgustin Lúskov in the 72nd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Bansko's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hristiyan Karaleev in the 73rd minute. The corner ended in Hristiyan Karaleev almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers did a great save. Dimitar Vetzov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Eikelkamp in the 75th minute of play. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 82nd minute. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Egbert Nijveldt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dimitar Vetzov quite easily take care of the ball. Dimitar Vetzov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the game, FC Bansko's Hristiyan Karaleev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Dimitar Vetzov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
