Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when El Boudiaf kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cezary Gniewek in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Taliban FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Kristián Pražan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Netherlands defense, Rafa Arantes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. The Netherlands fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnout Reekers should have stopped the shot. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Taliban FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from El Boudiaf in the 22nd minute of play. With an all-out effort, Taliban FC's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mohamed Abrika, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Arantes in the 28th minute of play. David Eikelkamp might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kristián Pražan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Eikelkamp ran back to his position shaking his head. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from El Boudiaf in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Taliban FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Kristián Pražan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Kees Mooiweer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kristián Pražan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mohamed Abrika in the 38th minute. When Walid Prévost fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taliban FC's protests and gave Walid Prévost a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, Taliban FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walid Prévost to maneuver through the defense. Cezary Gniewek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Kristián Pražan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. Lars Meesters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristián Pražan having to interfere. In the 62nd match minute, Taliban FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafa Arantes to maneuver through the defense. Taliban FC's Eron Abasalo was substituted for Mohammad Kaci Benhamou. Taliban FC made a substitution. Abdelmalek Zerara replaced Roberto Falcón. In the 63rd minute, Rafa Arantes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from El Boudiaf in the 71st minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Kristián Pražan made a huge save. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Kees Mooiweer hit a great ball. After 79 minutes, Wim Wilmes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Netherlands and the Taliban FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a free kick in the 79th minute. Jerry Featherson's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Taliban FC throughout the match.
