The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Vicente Txindoki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Kaiet got in the 8th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Keld Paulsen handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as MirkoNicolas FC's Roman Palermo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Keld Paulsen. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Keld Paulsen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 14th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Vicente Txindoki. The crowd rose to their feet as MirkoNicolas FC's Roman Palermo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Keld Paulsen. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. In the 23rd minute Bertram Svenningsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Liberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 minutes, Raul Galeno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MirkoNicolas FC and the Denmark players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Denmark booed when MirkoNicolas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Galeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Placido Luzaide kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Martin Liberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertram Svenningsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Liberto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Kaiet got free with Keld Paulsen in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Keld Paulsen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcelo Kaiet showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-1 in the 39 minute of play. Mikkel Wulff kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. The throw-in from Virgilio Ishmael in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Lars Steen. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Roman Palermo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. 64 minutes into the match, Marcelo Kaiet notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Denmark's Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpected shot in the 70th minute by Mikkel Wulff got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Martin Liberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 86th minute of play forced MirkoNicolas FC's goalkeeper Martin Liberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roman Palermo in the 89th minute of play. Marcelo Kaiet's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Kaiet helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to MirkoNicolas FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Marcelo Kaiet hit a great ball. When Raul Galeno was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. In the 96th match minute, MirkoNicolas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raul Galeno to maneuver through the defense. Chris Nygaard, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, MirkoNicolas FC could leave the field as winners, despite Denmark having more of the ball for most of the match.
