Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Konstanty Dzierwa scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maxime Durand, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 8 minutes into the match, France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konstanty Dzierwa. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Konstanty Dzierwa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Szentgotthárd's supporters rose to their feet, but Konstanty Dzierwa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maxime Durand breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henry Robiquet kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. If József Sallói had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Szentgotthárd's József Sallói was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 18th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 21st minute József Sallói shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. József Sallói took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. József Sallói succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 27th playminute. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from József Sallói, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Szentgotthárd getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Miklós Ferencz hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Károly Selymes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. József Sallói received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Maxime Durand tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Máté Marton in the 44th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by France's Henry Robiquet. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Konstanty Dzierwa made a kick off. Miklós Ferencz hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, France's Frank Peletier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kornél Hajdú narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Szentgotthárd's goalkeeper Kornél Hajdú had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Peletier. The supporters of France booed when Szentgotthárd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Konstanty Dzierwa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maxime Durand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstanty Dzierwa, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute, József Sallói left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Szentgotthárd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. 84 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Konstanty Dzierwa came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kornél Hajdú showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Frank Peletier's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Kornél Hajdú skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Camille Baume might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kornél Hajdú. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Camille Baume ran back to his position shaking his head. Henry Robiquet charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Henry Robiquet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, France's Henry Robiquet got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Szentgotthárd support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
