In the 2nd match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boros Benedek to maneuver through the defense. Adriano Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bakos Endre in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Jumentus's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Adriano Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. Hungary's Hegedus Henrik was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Adriano Penha in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Takacs Tibor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Penha having to interfere. Adriano Penha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 24th minute of play. Takacs Tibor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adriano Penha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Jumentus's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Penha came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adriano Penha came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Balazs Lajos. But to his dismay, Balazs Lajos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adriano Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bakos Endre kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Eliézer Bueno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jumentus's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Antal Valentin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jumentus's Adriano Penha did a great save. Javier Fonticoba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Jumentus's goal looked a bit too open when Takacs Tibor came free, but Adriano Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Corrêa in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Hungary's Antal Valentin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adriano Penha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 65th minute Cássio Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Penha made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Antal Valentin sent off a good shot on target. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cássio Velasco's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Adriano Penha in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adriano Penha made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Balazs Lajos sent off a good shot on target. Major Barna came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Adriano Penha could save by the left post. The supporters of Jumentus booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szekeres Tamas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jumentus's Wambasther Ferdinand was substituted for Glauco Faria. 85 minutes into the match, Jumentus's goalkeeper Adriano Penha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Bakos Endre hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Hungary played a much better game than Jumentus and deserved their victory. The Jumentus players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
