Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dušan Vlahovic in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the game, Juan Bordon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgium the free kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Vanderstraeten to make the kick off. Gu Zhan Qiang might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casper Claes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gu Zhan Qiang ran back to his position shaking his head. Gu Zhan Qiang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Fedele Giampieri made a huge save. In the 87th minute Kaká Beaton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Radnicki 1923 Kg-Stars™'s Gavril Stoican sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Casper Claes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 94 minutes into the match, Gavril Stoican had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavril Stoican was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Belgium's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
