The corner led Spain's Jonathan Criado to fire away a dangerous shot which Dick Vedholm despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Aleksander Gustafsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Ascaso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Hockeysnubbarnas BK were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Spain's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Smith Wigglesworth took the corner. The corner led to Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Rikard Björkdahl getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 45th match minute, Hockeysnubbarnas BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Smith Wigglesworth to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Ricardo Chepe kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Lindberg in the 59th minute of the match. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kent Lindberg in the 62nd minute of play. When Spain's Adria Bielsa in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Adria Bielsa sped through Hockeysnubbarnas BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dick Vedholm. 70 minutes into the match, Hockeysnubbarnas BK's goalkeeper Dick Vedholm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Aranda. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Erik Ek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik Ek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Ascaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Spain made a substitution. Carles Cherro replaced Omar Toledo. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Dick Vedholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Hockeysnubbarnas BK from getting a goal against them. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Lindberg in the 79th minute of play. Dick Vedholm made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Aranda in the 81st minute. David Aranda struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Dick Vedholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spain. Spain made a substitution. Sergio Ruiz replaced Adria Bielsa. In the 89th minute Sergio Ruiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dick Vedholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dick Vedholm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Ruiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's Dick Vedholm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Ruiz in the 96th minute of play. Spain played a much better game than Hockeysnubbarnas BK and deserved their victory. The Hockeysnubbarnas BK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
