After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vinicio Bermudo made a kick off. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ragıp Işık, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Romeu Guedes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Guararapes supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Netherlands's performance. The match ended with a win for Netherlands.
