Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zaccheo Andolina started the match with the kick off. Trabzonspor's Yunus Civan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 5th minute of play. Yunus Civan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 9th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Alejo Otsando recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Flavio Vittori. Alejo Otsando showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 19th minute of the match, Alejo Otsando got a very nice opportunity to score, but Flavio Vittori was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Trabzonspor getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bedrettin Özaktuğ hit a great ball. Zaccheo Andolina scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yunus Civan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejo Otsando in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. After 30 minutes of play, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yunus Civan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd match minute, Trabzonspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejo Otsando to maneuver through the defense. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. Yunus Civan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 39th minute of play. Yunus Civan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 41st minute of the match. Ivo Waard's late challenge caught a Italy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivo Waard helped the player get up and apologised. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alejo Otsando made the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute of the match Italy got a corner. Trabzonspor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Trabzonspor's Ataman Kutun got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 69 minutes of play, Trabzonspor's Kerem Erek made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Vittori was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zaccheo Andolinas short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Yunus Civan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zaccheo Andolina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Yunus Civan made a huge save. Kerem Erek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kerem Erek, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Trabzonspor's zone, Sigfrido Auletta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yunus Civan came out of the goal and Sigfrido Auletta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Italy made a substitution. Kerem Erek scored 3-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Vittori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
