Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Guararapes's Vinicio Bermudo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristiano Lago's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Belgium's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ragıp Işık was slow to take the kick. During this time Guararapes's players had a chance to rest. Guararapes's Ragıp Işık was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Casper Claes in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 10th minute Tenorio Urrue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guararapes's Tenorio Urrue managed to work through Belgium's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Tenorio Urrue dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Guararapes's Romeu Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 17th minute of play. Romeu Guedes came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Guararapes's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Romeu Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 34thth minute of the game Edward Vanderstraeten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guararapes's Romeu Guedes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Romeu Guedes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 40th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeu Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yves Dervaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 46 minutes into the match, Vinicio Bermudo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vinicio Bermudo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeu Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 53 minutes into the game, Vinicio Bermudo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Casper Claes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Bermudo in the 56th minute of play. With a little luck, Guararapes's Romeu Guedes got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Vinicio Bermudo notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Belgium's Casper Claes. Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Bermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Nigel Devos got a free kick in the 68th minute. Casper Claes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Lago in the 70th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Tenorio Urrue notched a goal, 4-3, to the right of Belgium's Casper Claes. Casper Claes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Romeu Guedes. Romeu Guedes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-4. Belgium's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 84th minute. The corner led Belgium's Yves Dervaux to a score. 4-5 in the 85th minute. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romeu Guedes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. The Belgium supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Belgium would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
