Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agah Çeliktaş having to interfere. ஐ ▓▒ ≮Ҝằ§ŧîиGs ≯™ ▒▓ ஐ's attentive Oğuzalp Tekecan managed to snatch the ball when Gust Ennemans made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. Pars Sururi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agah Çeliktaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Pars Sururi made the kick off in the second half. Agah Çeliktaş made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Agah Çeliktaş was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 55 minute of play. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agah Çeliktaş was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Despite being the better team, Netherlands failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
