An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 4th minute of play forced SARAY A.Ş's goalkeeper Birdal Nuratay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ant Temizkan kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Birdal Nuratay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Antal Valentin made a precise shot to the right of Birdal Nuratay. SARAY A.Ş's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Birdal Nuratay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 19th minute of play. When Balazs Lajos fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hungary's protests and gave Balazs Lajos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SARAY A.Ş booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balazs Lajos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st match minute, SARAY A.Ş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gürhan Tüzeman to maneuver through the defense. Birdal Nuratay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boğaç Altuncuoğlu in the 30th minute of play. SARAY A.Ş were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kıvanç Torel took the corner. Boğaç Altuncuoğlu was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balazs Lajos got free with Birdal Nuratay in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Kıvanç Torel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Kıvanç Torel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
