Lucjan Palzewicz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Emil Malik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. RKS Królewscy's Chrisostomos Vourlis quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Faustino Almeida, made in the 13th minute of the game. Lucjan Palzewicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. RKS Królewscy's Sérgio Ramos managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Faustino Almeida in the 18 minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucjan Palzewicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Amorim. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. Portugal's Felipe Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Süleyman Özkan fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Wilson Amorim, passed just outside the right post. Špend Mony hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The supporters of Portugal booed when RKS Królewscy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vsevolod Rotan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Špend Mony hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Viriato Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Malik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. When Portugal's Felipe Barreto in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RKS Królewscy's goalie prevented a goal. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Malik. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Portugal. Felipe Barreto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Emil Malik. 1-1. Portugal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Lucjan Palzewicz scored to the left of an out of position Wilson Amorim, making the score, 2-1.

Bruno Bastos got a throw-in 53 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Daniel Pimentel. Portugal's Viriato Moura was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Emil Malik in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Portugal booed when RKS Królewscy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Süleyman Özkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Emil Malik managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Portugal's Felipe Barreto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. RKS Królewscy made a substitution. Frank de Boer replaced Sérgio Ramos. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Portugal's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vsevolod Rotan was slow to take the kick. During this time RKS Królewscy's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, RKS Królewscy's Baldomero Bras got a free kick in the 77th minute. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. In the 91st minute, Bulut Başoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. If Ksawery Mielak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bartolomeu Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Emil Malik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
