Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Faustino Almeida's late challenge caught a Mariolo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. Faustino Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Frederico Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Frederico Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Benedito Camargo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Mariolo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Frederico Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lartaun Carrandi kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frederico Barros to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eufrasio Vall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 51st minute, Viriato Moura fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederico Barros in the 56th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eufrasio Vall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mariolo's goalkeeper Eufrasio Vall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Umea Loza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Umea Loza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. Eufrasio Vall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Mariolo's Lartaun Carrandi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Wilson Amorim in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 81st minute Caetano Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eufrasio Vall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bartolomeu Dias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Eufrasio Vall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariolo were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Portugal to leave the ground with a draw.
