Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Klas Aronsson made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Klas Aronsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 9th minute of play forced Fårdala FF's goalkeeper Gunnar Håning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klas Aronsson in the 12th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gunnar Håning showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 20th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. In the 27th minute, Klas Aronsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Fårdala FF's Klas Aronsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-1 after 28 minutes of play. Fårdala FF's Klas Aronsson was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Gunnar Håning didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. The audience held their breath when Reine Tholsson in the 38th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Tommy Kahn's left hand side. Klas Aronsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. After 43 minutes, Klas Aronsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fårdala FF and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Fårdala FF's Gunnar Håning. Gunnar Håning was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klas Aronsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klas Aronsson in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Germany's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reine Tholsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Fårdala FF's players had a chance to rest. Frank Sachs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gunnar Håning having to make a save. Steve Trawel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. The supporters of Germany booed when Fårdala FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Björnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thor Stenqvist in the 93rd minute of the match. Germany's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
