Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edward Vanderstraeten started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 5th minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Orlando Gatti. Hugo Orlando Gatti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Edward Vanderstraeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 0-2 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cecilio Tristan scored 1-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casper Claes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 28 minutes, Edward Vanderstraeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 30th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 1-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 35 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 37th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Abuba Akotonon FC got a freekick which was hit by Rene Sanson. After having played for 39 minutes, Siebe Michiels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siebe Michiels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute Belgium were awarded a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten went to the cornerflag to take it.

With his leg Hugo Orlando Gatti managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Belgium's Sander Dermaut managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by J.J Okocha in the 58 minute of the game. If Cecilio Tristan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 1-4 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hugo Orlando Gatti was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edward Vanderstraeten showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 66 minute of play. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yves Dervaux in the 69th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hugo Orlando Gatti. That made the score 1-6 in the 72 minute of play. In the 76th minute, Cecilio Tristan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Abuba Akotonon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. 81 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Tristan came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute Abuba Akotonon FC were awarded a corner. Genaro Elivareo went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Cecilio Tristan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Casper Claes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Yves Dervaux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Hugo Orlando Gatti made a huge save. Edward Vanderstraeten in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hugo Orlando Gatti, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
