The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Balazs Lajos hit a great ball. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 13th minute of play forced Canalla Fuego's goalkeeper Clemente Benvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a left leg Clemente Benvido saved Canalla Fuego from getting behind. In the 39th minute, Diguinho Paraíba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Clemente Benvido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Canalla Fuego's Carlos Aimar was substituted for Aristides Villanueva. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Canalla Fuego's Clemente Benvido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Canalla Fuego from getting a goal against them. After having played for 57 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Canalla Fuego booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vörös Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diguinho Paraíba in the 62nd minute of the match. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ambrosio Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Romeo Lon hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. After having played for 83 minutes, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antal Valentin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Antal Valentin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Clemente Benvido. The goal made the score 0-1. Canalla Fuego's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Balazs Lajos scored to the left of an out of position Clemente Benvido, making the score, 0-2. After 91 minutes, Takacs Tibor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hungary and the Canalla Fuego players grew even worse after the yellow card. Takacs Tibor kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Jonatan Benvide hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
