A collision led to MURAT KARAKOÇ getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Sílvio Ceresso hit a great ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Anıl Baran Fırat. MURAT KARAKOÇ's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Egbert Nijveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. In the last second Arnout Reekers throw himself and got hold of the ball when Latif Bican in the 8thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 10th minute MURAT KARAKOÇ were awarded a corner. Emirşah Açıkel went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 10th match minute, MURAT KARAKOÇ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anıl Baran Fırat having to interfere. MURAT KARAKOÇ's Anıl Baran Fırat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 17th minute of play. Latif Bican's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Arnout Reekers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Anıl Baran Fırat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Wim Wilmes came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wim Wilmes couldn't finish the play. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Latif Bican in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MURAT KARAKOÇ's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anıl Baran Fırat came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anıl Baran Fırat came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Wim Wilmes. But to his dismay, Wim Wilmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. MURAT KARAKOÇ's Anıl Baran Fırat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Latif Bican in the 38th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anıl Baran Fırat. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran back to his position shaking his head. Anıl Baran Fırat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 42nd minute of the match. MURAT KARAKOÇ were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emirşah Açıkel took the corner. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Latif Bican in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Latif Bican made a kick off. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorato Bertol in the 52nd minute of the match. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Latif Bican, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anıl Baran Fırat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gust Ennemans blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anıl Baran Fırat having to make a save. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Anıl Baran Fırat could save by the left post. In the 62nd minute of the game Kees Mooiweer made a throw-in which Wim Wilmes played forward. MURAT KARAKOÇ's Anıl Baran Fırat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save MURAT KARAKOÇ from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anıl Baran Fırat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. David Eikelkamp hit a great ball. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 73 played minutes MURAT KARAKOÇ got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Bertol. Anıl Baran Fırat made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. In the 77th minute Furkan Erşahin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Furkan Erşahin kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. A hard shot 85 in the game by Wim Wilmes from a close distance when the talented Anıl Baran Fırat managed to make a qualified save. MURAT KARAKOÇ's players were relieved. In the 86th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Lars Meesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a precise shot to the right of Anıl Baran Fırat. MURAT KARAKOÇ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2.
