Apolo Chica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 7th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Chica saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Apolo Chica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 10th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Matxin Maliaño kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Matxin Maliaño didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 14th minute. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The supporters of Germany booed when La Vieja Guardia Jrs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillelme Veraza didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 21 in the game by Matxin Maliaño from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Alex Pedrera scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 4-0. Janik Vogt hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Curcio Caldevila was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 31st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Apolo Chica played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 33rd minute of play. Matxin Maliaño took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Matxin Maliaño sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Alberto Camudio fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Vieja Guardia Jrs's protests and gave Alberto Camudio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 54th match minute, La Vieja Guardia Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Camudio to maneuver through the defense. Guillelme Veraza got a throw-in 56 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Curcio Caldevila. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's Inigo Guceño was substituted for Isias Cembrana. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matxin Maliaño in the 67th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in La Vieja Guardia Jrs's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Chica came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Inigo Guceño kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Albin Holweck's late challenge caught a La Vieja Guardia Jrs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albin Holweck helped the player get up and apologised. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Apolo Chica in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Chorche Viya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to La Vieja Guardia Jrs getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Guillelme Veraza hit a great ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chorche Viya in the 91st minute of play. La Vieja Guardia Jrs's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
