Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Augusto Saldanha started the match with the kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game Augusto Saldanha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portugal's goalie prevented a goal. The corner ended in Rubens Rezende almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim did a great save. With an all-out effort, Gracie Barra's Wilson Amorim threw himself towards the right post 7 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Augusto Saldanha, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Augusto Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Wilson Amorim made a huge save. Augusto Saldanha might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Saldanha ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Saldanha in the 12th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Saldanha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Saldanha in the 22nd minute of the match. When Augusto Saldanha came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Gracie Barra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Saldanha couldn't finish the play. After 25 minutes of play, Gracie Barra's Augusto Saldanha made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, Augusto Saldanha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Saldanha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 34 minutes Portugal's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rubens Rezende who took care of the corner kick. Augusto Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Saldanha in the 40th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The supporters of Gracie Barra booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graciano Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Saldanha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şamil Sağman in the 46th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Augusto Saldanha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Saldanha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Viriato Moura received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Falcão Cunha came out and tried to block the shot, but Viriato Moura slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 65th minute. Gracie Barra made a substitution. Hugo de Queirós replaced Jamey Hankins. If Felipinho Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Felipinho Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Falcão Cunha made a huge save. 71 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Nilton Botelho came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute of the match Gracie Barra got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rubens Rezende ran over to the corner to take the kick. Felipinho Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Felipinho Amorim's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Falcão Cunha firmly grabbed it by the left post. Falcão Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipinho Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Falcão Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 79th minute of the match. Felipinho Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Falcão Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Snorri De Hond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute of the match, Felipinho Amorim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Falcão Cunha was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nilton Botelho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Snorri De Hond in the 95th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
