Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zaccheo Andolina took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Siricio Liotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 11th minute of play. Zaccheo Andolina scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Rius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Rius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Rius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Albano Abadia in the 34th minute. Latocayteva F.C. were furious when Nóni Angel was red carded, 35 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The supporters of Italy booed when Latocayteva F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nóni Angel didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th minute, Sigfrido Auletta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 40th minute of play forced Latocayteva F.C.'s goalkeeper Apolo Rius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Zaccheo Andolina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Italy were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ander Hoyos made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the game Deodato Magliozzi made a throw-in which Porziano Marchitelli played forward. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Apolo Rius. With a little luck, Latocayteva F.C.'s Apolo Rius got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. The throw-in from Zigrīds Pedersens in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. After 65 played minutes Latocayteva F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nesor Vacas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Apolo Rius in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 70th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Rius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Latocayteva F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sigfrido Auletta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Italy's Siricio Liotta getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Italy booed when Latocayteva F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nesor Vacas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Rius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 80th minute. Apolo Rius was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Porziano Marchitelli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Porziano Marchitelli really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Adriano Curto replaced Zaccheo Andolina. Albano Abadia hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Siricio Liotta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Rius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Porziano Marchitelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Apolo Rius made a huge save. Italy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
