Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Albano Abadia kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 7th minute Latocayteva F.C. were awarded a corner. Edgar Caeiro went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Zigrīds Pedersens got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wilson Amorim quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 11 minutes into the match, Albano Abadia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albano Abadia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Barreto got free with Apolo Rius in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julen Avila hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, Latocayteva F.C.'s Albano Abadia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Daniel Pimentel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apolo Rius. Latocayteva F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Daniel Pimentel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 32nd minute Albano Abadia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Rodolfo Miranda in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Latocayteva F.C.'s Hitzeder Lorenzo. Tony Soprano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Portugal booed when Latocayteva F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koulis Kostakoglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute of the match Felipe Barreto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Apolo Rius skillfully saved the ball. Latocayteva F.C. were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after Portugal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edgar Caeiro took the corner. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The corner led Latocayteva F.C.'s Zigrīds Pedersens to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilson Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Apolo Rius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Felipe Barreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Apolo Rius. Latocayteva F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Felipe Barreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Daniel Pimentel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Rius having to interfere. Portugal made a substitution. Latocayteva F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Latocayteva F.C.'s Albano Abadia got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albano Abadia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Latocayteva F.C. were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Portugal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edgar Caeiro took the corner. Tony Soprano was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. With a little luck, Portugal's Wilson Amorim got control of the ball when Albano Abadia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Apolo Rius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipinho Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
