Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco José Millán went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco José Millán in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Richmond Van Glabeeke scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 2-0. In the 17th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco José Millán. Malte Schiele's late challenge caught a Puerto de Sagunto CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Malte Schiele helped the player get up and apologised. 28 minutes into the match, Puerto de Sagunto CF's Tommy Galle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Roland Burdzel got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 3-0. 30 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Puerto de Sagunto CF's Tommy Kahn threw himself towards the right post 32 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Richmond Van Glabeeke, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco José Millán in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Francisco José Millán's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Tommy Kahn skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Francisco José Millán tried to sneak it across the goal line. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gong Yong Nan having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Frank Sachs's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gong Yong Nan was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Francisco José Millán sent off a good shot on target.

A collision led to Puerto de Sagunto CF getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Edu Gaspar hit a great ball. After 52 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Linus Schwerner. Florentino Checa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A throw-in in the 59th minute of the game was made by Lawrence Manrique with Matia Climent as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 60th minute Francisco José Millán shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sachs kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Puerto de Sagunto CF's Doroteo Astudillo was substituted for Florentino Checa. 67 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Matia Climent came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Puerto de Sagunto CF's Richmond Van Glabeeke. But to his dismay, Richmond Van Glabeeke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 72ndth minute of the game Richmond Van Glabeeke who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. When Albin Holweck fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Albin Holweck a yellow card for diving instead. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the game, Puerto de Sagunto CF's Matia Climent nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 86 minutes, Francisco José Millán made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 played minutes Puerto de Sagunto CF got a freekick which was hit by Frans Beckenbauer. Francisco José Millán recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Puerto de Sagunto CF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
