Artur Brudzisz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Toledo in the 19th minute of the match. Leandro Calçada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gabriel Ascaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Artur Brudzisz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Omar Toledo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Artur Brudzisz. Bacardi Black Bats's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Omar Toledo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moisés Queiroga to make the kick off. Bacardi Black Bats's attentive Abílio Severiano managed to snatch the ball when Santiago Sartori made a throw-in in the 55th minute of the game. When Abílio Severiano fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bacardi Black Bats's protests and gave Abílio Severiano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Bacardi Black Bats was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abílio Severiano to maneuver through the defense. After 58 played minutes Spain got a freekick which was hit by Enrique Rabellino. Moisés Queiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adria Bielsa in the 84th minute of play forced Bacardi Black Bats's goalkeeper Artur Brudzisz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
