After a rather tough play, ÓKINJÔ FC's Qi Si got a free kick in the 19th minute. With his leg Tommy Kahn managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when ÓKINJÔ FC's Naim Ünal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 29 minutes into the game, Alexandrino Sesimbra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn. The referee ignored ÓKINJÔ FC's protests and gave Seyhun Demircan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ÓKINJÔ FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Seyhun Demircan hit a great ball. Trond Hagen might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Trond Hagen ran back to his position shaking his head. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Sachss short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Frits Sap to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 53rd minute of the match Germany got a corner. ÓKINJÔ FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frank Sachs ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Linus Schwerner heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 56 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. Trond Hagen, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Qi Si got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 95 played minutes ÓKINJÔ FC got a freekick which was hit by Qi Si. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ÓKINJÔ FC fully deserved thier win.
