Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 6th minute, Albin Holweck ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horia Crăciunescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Dragoş Cîrțu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Mihail Chimeț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valentin Negru kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Dragoş Cîrțu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Gigi Floroiu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-1. Horia Crăciunescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the match, FC Inter Sibiu's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but Horia Crăciunescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 minutes, Frank Sachs made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Inter Sibiu's Horia Crăciunescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The FC Inter Sibiu players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Germany were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 54th minute of play forced FC Inter Sibiu's goalkeeper Horia Crăciunescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gigi Floroiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Horia Crăciunescu came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Germany's Frank Sachs. But to his dismay, Frank Sachs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute of the match Dragoş Cîrțu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. Toader Nicolae made in the 69th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Mihail Chimeț however managed to control. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihail Chimeț, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Albin Holweck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Janik Vogt was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. Germany:s Tommy Kahn showed great skill when he stopped Dragoş Cîrțu:s penalty. Frank Sachs charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Sachs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sachs to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute of the match Dragoş Cîrțu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Floroiu in the 90th minute of play. Ulrich Stein came free in the 96th minute and tried to tip the ball over Horia Crăciunescu, but to the joy of FC Inter Sibiu's supporters the ball went over.
