Frank Sachs scored 1-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gleb Stroganov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maksim Dunaevskiy's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Grigoriy Kudryavtsev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gleb Stroganov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Gleb Stroganov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. 35 minutes in the game, Frank Sachs dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 37th minute of the match, Grigoriy Kudryavtsev tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tommy Kahn saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 38 minutes into the match, Petr Klimovskiy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 3-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Geo-Winner fully deserved thier win.
