Velika Greda's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Damir Paljić in the 4th minute. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Miloš Agatonović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Boros Benedek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Major Barna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tytus Škarpa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Velika Greda's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. After having played for 23 minutes, Major Barna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 28th minute, Borisav Ćuzović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Miloš Agatonović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 36th minute of the match. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Miloš Agatonović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. The supporters of Velika Greda booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Major Barna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Velika Greda's Tomislav Vukojičić got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 53rd minute, Hegedus Henrik fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Miloš Agatonović, passed just outside the right post. In the 55thth minute of the game Tomislav Vukojičić who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomislav Vukojičić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Miloš Agatonović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the match, Velika Greda's goalkeeper Miloš Agatonović had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Miloš Agatonović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Tomislav Vukojičić hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hungary players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
