When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Zaccheo Andolina sped through Budget Goblins's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eraldo Guzman. Porziano Marchitelli took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eraldo Guzman. Eraldo Guzman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Budget Goblins were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Italy's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iwan Makomaski took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristopher de Alcântara in the 23rd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Budget Goblins's Olaf Filipowski got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Eraldo Guzman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eraldo Guzman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. The throw-in from Eliseo Cutri in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Budget Goblins's Tim-Florian Kownatzki. Eraldo Guzman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sostene Vitulli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Budget Goblins booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Cutri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tim-Florian Kownatzki made in the 44th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. After the first half Italy were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristopher de Alcântara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Budget Goblins got a freekick which was hit by Grigoris Gavril. With a little luck, Budget Goblins's Eraldo Guzman got control of the ball when Sigfrido Auletta tried to sneak it across the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Italy reached it. Budget Goblins's Eraldo Guzman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Curto in the 95th minute of play. Italy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
