In the 8th match minute, FC Kopli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kaido Lipmeister to maneuver through the defense. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 11th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joakim Vennerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 11th minute of play forced FC Kopli's goalkeeper Joakim Vennerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Kopli's Joakim Vennerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes in the game Elmar Loorits did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Aivar Kalde. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl Ahju in the 24th minute of the match. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. David Eikelkamp hit a great ball. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Karl Ahju tried to sneak it across the goal line. Madis Ratas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnout Reekers firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of FC Kopli booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gijsbert ter Kruimer didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Kopli's Joakim Vennerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Eikelkamp in the 39th minute of play. Karl Ahju could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 45th minute of play forced FC Kopli's goalkeeper Joakim Vennerström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enar Aavakivi hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joakim Vennerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karl Ahju to strike the kick off in the second half. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 54 played minutes FC Kopli got a freekick which was hit by Enar Aavakivi. 57 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Enar Aavakivi came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Kopli's Joakim Vennerström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save FC Kopli from getting a goal against them. At last the ball reached Egbert Nijveldt at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of FC Kopli. 1-2. In the 87th minute, Elmar Loorits left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Kopli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joakim Vennerström having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, David Eikelkamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Karl Ahju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Kopli booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Eikelkamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Elmar Loorits came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Karl Ahju almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers did a great save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
