Vicky Donda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 12th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicky Donda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Sebastiaan Gentiletti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tord Söderqvist in the 19th minute. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Tord Söderqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a left leg Vicky Donda saved ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ from getting behind. 45 minutes into the game, Sostene Vitulli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Italy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ the free kick. After 45 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Sostene Vitulli. In the 45th minute of the match Hernan Chico shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Vittori showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Americo Javiar made in the 51st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Norbert Pollák. Luo Qing Xi kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's goalkeeper Vicky Donda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina. With a little luck, ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Vicky Donda got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tord Söderqvist in the 63rd minute of play. When Italy's Zaccheo Andolina in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Vicky Donda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ made a substitution. Domenico Masetti replaced Tord Söderqvist. 76 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Rıfkı Erdönmez came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. After a rather tough play, ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Marcos Senesi got a free kick in the 81st minute. ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Vicky Donda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Curto in the 82nd minute of play. In the 85th minute Guiscardo Davide shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicky Donda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, Guiscardo Davide recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vicky Donda. Guiscardo Davide showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Vicky Donda was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Adriano Curto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adriano Curto really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Italy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
