Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Diego Frasquito tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 8 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Fernan Ralondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Fernan Ralondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 16th minute of the match. David Eikelkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Fernan Ralondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Guillelmus in the 33rd minute of play. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th match minute, Venezia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olaf Modliszewski to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gijsbert ter Kruimer to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Venezia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Fernan Ralondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Lars Meesters to score against Fernan Ralondo in Venezia FC's goal. 0-1 after 53 minutes. Gustaaf Groeneveldt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Fernan Ralondo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Angel Guillelmus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Guillelmus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venezia FC's Fernan Ralondo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Venezia FC from getting a goal against them. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Fernan Ralondo made a huge save. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fernan Ralondo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Venezia FC throughout the match.
